NGOUNSO LIVELIHOOD EVENT

Exciting Update from Faith in God Charity Missions!  Thanks to Lucie Hair Braiding Chance Lucie  for the wonderful support.

This past Saturday, January 20, 2024, we kicked off the year with a heartwarming event in Ngounso, West Region of Cameroon. We shared dresses with widows and orphans, distributed toys to the little ones, and provided livelihood training to 42 widows in making Omo (detergent) and soap.

During the event, we conducted assessments to identify areas where widows and orphans need assistance in making a living. The majority expressed interest in farming, and we're gearing up to purchase farming equipment, fertilizer, and more. For those aspiring to learn a trade, we'll be covering apprenticeship fees and providing startup materials upon graduation. Those focusing on Omo and soap production will receive startup chemicals.

Our next event is in Bamoungoum, West Region, Cameroon, coming up in February 2024! We have two visits planned, one for food distribution and the other for livelihood assistance.
